Next dSLR from Sigma will be called SD14
Today Sigma showed the first glimpse of their new Digital SLR camera called the SD14. A teaser can be found at http://www.sigma-sd14.com. The camera will still use a Foveon sensor, presumably around 4.65MP. The official announcement will be on 26th of september, the first day of Photokina.
From the photo on the teaser site and some other pictures that have surfaced on the web a few things have become clear. The new body will feature a built-in flash, has a pc-sync port, a new dust filter and a much bigger screen. On the back there is a icon that indicates multiple focus-points. From the new menustructure there is the option to choose file-formats (only raw is shown) so presumably there will be in-camera jpeg. Overall it seems that the body is somewhat smaller and more modern looking.
